Arm-of-the-Sea fuses visual storytelling with live music in original works of mask and puppet theater. Founded in 1982 by Marlena Marallo and Patrick Wadden, the company channels the evocative power of the arts as a force for insight & community uplift. Much of their work explores relations between humans and the life-support networks of this blue-ocean planet.

Job Openings 2024

Arm-of-the-Sea  is seeking a passionate Hudson River educator to create and facilitate hands-on experiences that engage diverse age groups with the Hudson River Estuary and Esopus Creek. These formal and informal programs will take place in Saugerties, NY, primarily at Arm-of-the-Sea’s Tidewater Center on the tidal Esopus.
This is a part-time seasonal position involving weekly events from June - Aug, plus October.  See attached Job Description and Photos.

Prospective candidates should submit a cover letter demonstrating  interest in the position and relevant experience.
