BCWF AGM & Convention Cancelled
The BC Wildlife Federation is sad to inform you that our 2020 Annual General Meeting and Convention scheduled for April 1-4 in Nanaimo, BC, has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 virus. BC health authorities have banned gatherings of more than 250 people at this time.
If you have registered for the AGM and Convention, the BCWF office will cancel your registration for you. Please make sure to cancel any accommodation you have booked in as timely a manner as possible.
As the important work of our organization is conducted at the Annual General Meeting, we will be rescheduling in 2020. Please watch for updates about a new date for the AGM as we will be sending out notices as far in advance as possible.
Although we are fortunate to have enough notice to cancel registration fees and room bookings, we have also had to cancel the fundraising we had planned for the convention. Donations are always welcome and gratefully accepted.
We apologize for this situation and appreciate the support, patience and understanding of our members, sponsors, and guests under these unprecedented circumstances.
