BCNC Acorn Center for Early Education and Care reopened for in-person childcare for working immigrant families in July. To keep children and families healthy, we have been adhering to safety guidelines as well as emphasizing social and emotional care.

This month, we are welcoming 55 preschoolers back to BCNC. Children return to BCNC to learn through building, playing, creating, reading, writing, and drawing. To keep children safe, each child needs their own set of art supplies and toys to use. In addition, teachers need to be equipped with safety and personal protective equipment (PPE) and the classrooms and materials are sanitized every day.

Purchasing individual supplies for all 55 children will cost over $1,800. Each month, we need an additional $350.00 for cleaning supplies and PPE. Would you make a gift to help a child learn safely?

Your gift will make a big impact on an Asian immigrant family!

  • A gift of $10 will provide art supplies for one child

  • A gift of $30 will provide toys, books, and art supplies for one child

  • A gift of $50 will help pay for cleaning supplies and PPE for teachers and children

Working families rely on our support. Thank you for helping to adjust services so children can continue to learn!
